Old Media's Misanthropy

New Orleans Coverage Leads to Exposure of NY Times' Part in Blocking Levee Improvements

Also: Suggesting a Formula For the New Media to Expand Its Competition With the Old Media to Reach a Wider Audience

The NY Times' most recently revealed inconsistencies broadly exposes it to charges of being ruthlessly in the forefront of promoting environmental policies dangerous to human life. These are policies one would expect to find among deathist negative-population-growth proponents. A moral humanist would hope these were not the efforts of the leading newspaper of the world's strongest power. Sadly, New Orleans appears now to be the most grievous natural consequence of the Times' efforts yet. I see no surprise that the Times leads the MSM chorus of projecting their own guilt upon those who have really been trying to save lives.

Here are the key points for the column I’ll never write because I'll get so involved with the details I'll wind up obscuring the important points I wish to share with others. So anyone, please, take my baton. Feel free to flesh out the conclusions I readily derived from the links you'll find at the end of the following. Then call the paean your own. The message is far more important than me.

Run two columns side by side (in the manner I did here) where you'll be revealing the inconsistencies of the NY Times with their own words. In this instance, their misleadings (so very significant because so much of the rest of Old Media takes their lead from the Times) have resulted in malfeasance and disorder leading to massive deaths and the destruction of a vital American city.

Begin with where the Times is blasting the Army Corps of Engineers alongside its current lionizing of the Corp.

Include their complaints about the Corp spending too much alongside their complaining of the Prez not spending enough.

Be sure to juxtapose their concerns about the environment against their complaints about people living where the Corps' work creates a people friendly habitat.

Be sure to note the article wherein they praise the increased costs of building levees and dams and run it opposite their complaints about running a deficit.

And please be sure to note how the Left has been the primary blocker of dam and levee construction—and run that alongside how, today, the Left claims it is the Right won’t build them because poor people (who the Left allegedly cares about) live near them.

The only conclusion is that the Left will fight tooth and nail to obstruct safety measures in order to protect an obscure fish, but will blame the Right when people die because the Left blocked the safety measures in the first place. Based on their own “reasoning” methodology, it proves the Left are in fact the racists because it’s their obstruction that resulted in the death of so many minorities in NOLA.

The Left claims, and their slavish Old Media will never challenge them, that they care more for the poor people today, but their actions of the past, and those they’ll try to continue tomorrow, will lead to more deaths next year.

This is yet another example of the culture of death that the radical Left has embraced and of how the mainstream Left has apparently fallen in lockstep with them.

How can it any longer be a wonder that our Left consistently provides propaganda that aids our enemies while demanding we unilaterally under-perform so as to endanger our own armed forces? The longer the terrorists aren’t neutralized, the more innocents and our own troops will die. And the longer the terrorists are still in business, the more time they have to deliver a massive attack to these shores.

The Left is surely mad both in their hatred of this country and of the very idea for innocent human life to be made free to thrive all over the globe.

Finally, put all this together in a pamphlet. Then distribute it in the manner of the Founders to all who may contribute a small fee. This method, repeated often enough with other news and revelations, will enable us to break the monopoly of the Old Media once and for all, since we then can reach so many more Americans who currently cannot be reached through the web.

I wish to thank Timeswatch, EU Rota and Eternity Road for providing me the information that drove me to compose this appeal to any who will read it and comprehend, as I see it, the threat to our great nation, and to its status as champion for the world's oppressed.
